E.K.A Inspirations is the ministry of Eric Kwasi Agyeman, a young man with a heart and a passion to motivate and inspire a generation (Gen Y and beyond) to use their full potential to better the world. E.K.A encourages this generation not to accept a life of mediocrity. Rather, to achieve excellence in all their endeavours.
Faced with a rough past, Eric has broken the bonds that once held him captive. Having seen the negativity and suffering that goes through with growing up in the Gen Y era, Eric has used this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of this generation.
In recent years he had his life transformed to now be a carrier and a vessel of a contagious faith spirit, as he reaches out to this generation. He is an example and a testimony that anyone can come out of their negative circumstance and anyone can change the course of their future by having a purpose to live for and pursuing that purpose.
Eric is using E.K.A.Inspirations as a vehicle to serve as a mouthpiece of hope, inspiration and motivation to a generation in the midst of societal pressure and negativity to arise to a place of the greatness each person has been predestined to.
Bio
Eric Kwasi Agyeman was born in 1986 in Accra, capital of the West African nation, Ghana. Eric then moved to New Zealand at the age of 6. Growing up in the town of Dunedin, Eric enjoyed sports and was involved in a variety of activities. He excelled in athletics and soccer which led him to think he would become a professional athlete one day. In 1997 Eric’s family decided to make a change and move to Australia, where Eric’s journey changed for the worse. Surrounded by negativity and peer pressure, Eric fell into being part of a gang, and everything that goes with that.
In his second year of high school, things were getting out control. Having being suspended on several occasions, the only way to avoid the humiliation of an expulsion was the decision by Eric’s father to send him back to Ghana for what was meant to be a 3 week holiday. The trip turned into a seven year adventure of transformation, from the wayward character he was to the influencing person he has now become.
Being back in Ghana was a defining moment for Eric. He accepted Jesus into his life in 2002, and this was the beginning of his new life of purpose that he is currently living; impacting and influencing people to live their lives to their utmost potential.
